Nick Graham

    Nick Graham founder member of Atomic Rooster in 1969 with Carl Palmer and Vincent Crane, went on to make three albums with Skin Alley,
    the only British band ever signed to Stax Records in Memphis, Tennesse(1971-74). Subsequently toured with soul legend Edwin Star and in the mid 80’s played piano and keyboards in Phil Manzenera’s (Roxy Music) band The Explorers. As a songwriter Nick has scored several hits most notably a US No.1 in 1988 with “The Flame” recorded by iconic American rock band “Cheap Trick”. In 2002-3 he toured with the Jim Capaldi (Traffic) band, and over the years has performed, recorded and/or written songs with Elkie Brooks, Toyah Wilcox, Sinitta, Leo Sayer, Dave Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator), Gary Grainger (Rod Stewart Band) Fee Waybill (Tubes), and Joey Tempest (Europe).
